The Hana Group’s logistics division took a major step forward with the award of a $35 million, five-year contract supporting multiple U.S. Navy clients. The work spans across many areas with one unifying goal: improve warfighter readiness by untangling the systemic barriers that slow things down.
“In today’s federal environment, it’s not easy to get big contracts over the line,” says Trevor Brown, Program Director for The Hana Group. “Funding is tight. Scrutiny is intense—in large part due to DOGE. But we were able to secure this contract quickly because of the trust we’ve built.”
The trust was earned through results. The Hana Group has become known across the Department of Defense for being the team you call when a situation is technically murky or operationally stuck. The team helps leaders get clear on what’s really going on and gives them the tools and strategies to move forward.
“This is about helping the Navy measure real gains in readiness,” Brown adds. “One of our goals is to generate clear progress by tracking improvements and answering the question: Are we better prepared to fight than we were before?”
The work ahead will test Hana’s ability to navigate divergent client needs and make measurable gains across complex environments. It will also serve as a proving ground for what Hana does best: tackling the gray areas—the problems that haven’t been solved because they haven’t been clearly defined.
As Brown puts it: “We know there are no easy answers. But we are here to ensure the mission always moves forward.”
