Gerald Nichels Promoted to Executive Director, Operations

We’re proud to announce the promotion of 16-year Hana veteran Gerald Nichels to Executive Director, Operations at The Hana Group.
 
Gerald’s journey with Hana is one of extraordinary growth and exemplary leadership. He began as a Site Manager and rose steadily—ultimately overseeing some of our most complex security programs as a Program Manager. Then, as Regional Director,  Special Projects, Gerald was responsible for more than 300 armed security professionals across the Mid-Atlantic and National Capital Region.
 
Known as the “fixer,” Gerald has a penchant for navigating even the trickiest operational breakdowns with sharp, decisive action. In his new position, Gerald will take on a broader leadership role, advising Regional Directors and supporting strategic planning across the division.
 
Gerald’s leadership is shaped by over two decades of U.S. Army service and refined through years of hands-on contract and personnel management across federal security programs. He continues to embody the values that define our ‘ohana.
